iSilo – The Best Watchtower Library App for iPhone and iPad
This post could be called the “only” Watchtower Library app on the iPhone and iPad. iSilo is more of a container app in the same sense that Microsoft Word is a container and it needs files to work. iSilo gives iPhone users the ability to view old Palm Pilot .pdb files. This is the common format the Watchtower Library is converted to every year. So you’ll still need to get the .pdb files. Once you have those you can open them with iSilo and you’re set to study on your iDevice. The video below describes how to use iSilo on your iPhone and iPad as well as how to load the Watchtower Library pdb files.

This is where to find the files.

My personal favorite files for the iPad are the “WSM with links” iSilo files. These files include the entire weeks study materials including, daily text, meeting publications, scriptures, and songs all in one easy to navigate format.

Thank you for sharing your tips and videos. I am only now discovering your site.
I just viewed the video iSilo/to view on iPad or iPhone. I began using iSilo before iPhones or iPads. When there were legal questions about using the WT Library on it I stopped updating my iSilo Library. Back in the day the only way I knew how to get WT Library onto my Mac G5 & MBP was with Vertual Windows. I hated that software. I saw you have WT Library on your iMac. What did you use to get it there since the CD’s are only for Windows. I have given up many years ago on trying to install WT Library, and I’ve missed it greatly.
Also, once I get my WT Lib onto my iMac and MBP, and drag it onto my devices will it merge with my old WT Lib that is currently in my iSilo (dated 2008), or will it replace old library with the newer versus ion, loosing old data?
Lastly, is the JW Companion app currently the best tool for studying/annotations, etc. I cannot decipher the date of your reviews.
Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge.

Hello, no the makers of the WTLib pdb files for iSilo said that 2013 was their last version. That’s because the Watchtower Online Library has all the post 2000 publications and the last pdb has all the pre 2000 publications.
