Photo Date Changer by publicspace.net is a Mac app that does just that, change photo dates. The question is, why would you want to do that? There is reason, and good reason. Digital cameras embed information into the pictures they take. That information is called EXIF data and it contains the date the photo was taken. A problem arises, though, when the date is wrong. This can happen when your digital camera has the wrong date and time in its settings. If that happens, all your photos could be sorted incorrectly. This can become especially evident if you use online photo storage services like Picturelife.
But there is a quick way to fix the problem. In this video we review how to fix a bunch of photos with Photo Date Changer. We particularly loved the simple. no-learning-curve interface. Of note, scanned photos without EXIF data won’t work in the app as there is none of the required information to work with. But if you have this problem with the wrong EXIF data in your digital camera photos, Photo Date Changer will solve it once and for all. Then you’ll be able to get back to more important things like taking photos.
