Hi. Thanks for letting me know. Can you tell me which part doesn’t work?

When you get to 6:44 minutes in the video that’s when it stops working. It tells me that “we couldn’t create this recipe at this time. Please try again later”. I’ve been trying for 4 days now. I’ve also tried it with google drive, outlook, and drop box. I keep getting the same message but I followed the video closely.

Hi, thank you for that information. I see it working on my end. How about subscribing to my recipe that I’ve already created? That is shown starting at the 11:08 minute mark. Please let me know if that works. Another idea is signing out and signing back into your IFTTT account. That may fix the problem.

Did you try to create a new Sync recipe without hitting a road block? If you already have a receip set up it might work fine. But I’m a new user. It won’t like me set up a recipe at all! I used the drop box recipe that’s already made and that did not work either. Are you able to set up a new recipe usingthe way you showed us in the video and it worked?

I can’t create the new reciepe. When I try to add the Feed URL I get an error in IFTTT saying “Not a valid feed url, missing feed title”.

What can I do to fix this?

    Hi Elisabet,

It seems a couple other friends are seeing a similar issue. I have sent you an email about it with a video to follow along with. Please take a look. If any other friends are seeing something similar, please let me know.

Please try making sure you have the latest RSS feed link from jw.org. They change it from time to time without notice.

Hey, for some reason whenever I try to create a recipe to automatically download to BOX, it comes up with “Could not create this recipe at this time. Please try again” error. I have re-tried a number of times without success. I get the same even with Dropbox. Tried logging out and back into IFTTT. I tried one of you recipes to download epub, it downloads a .png. Do you have any suggestions for me?

    Thanks,
    Thoriso (South Africa)

I’ve seen a few friends using Adobe Reader on their Android tabs at the meeting. I don’t know any capability specifics though.

How can I get this to work with Adobe reader? I don’t have an ipad. I have an Android device

This should work with any app (Android/Apple) that connects to Dropbox. The IFTTT parts stays the same. Just connect to Dropbox with whatever app you like.

I received notification that the 3/15/15 magazine recipe was added to dropbox. But it was not there. It was not in documents either. Hmmm… If I just use it to notify there is something new, that’s ok, but I expected a download.

Yes it should download the magazine to your dropbox folder. Let me check to make sure the feed is still correct.

Hello, I tried last Sunday to follow the video for setting up the automatic download for the public edition of both WT & AW. I wait several days and it did not work. Then I tried using the Appchasers already configure in IF app, but did know what to do after it was downloaded. What the next steps after downloading the app?

Hi. The latest Awake was released last Friday. So you won’t see any activity in your feed until the next issue. There was a problem with the Watchtower feed however. So I updated the recipe and it should be working now. But again you won’t see anything download until the next issue. So you’ll have to manually download the current mags until the next ones are released. Thanks for the question!

    Hello there,
I followed the steps in the video for this recipe for the pdf downloads, but when the May study edition came out, I got a “.png” file in my dropbox instead. How can I fix this? thanks!

Hi. I’m seeing the same behavior on my side too. Hmm, they must have changed something with the May issue.
