Surprisingly Yahoo has made a fantastic iPhone and iPad app for weather. What’s great about Yahoo Weather is it’s user interface. The app gives you a nice forecast of daily and nightly weather with written descriptions of rain and snow accumulations, a feature lacking in many weather apps. The app also pulls Flickr photos of your selected cities as nice backdrops. This is a fun ability and makes Yahoo Weather our favorite all-around weather app. Now the app also has widget support. The Yahoo Weather widget will show you the current temperature along with the high and low for the day. All viewable by a swipe down from the top of your screen.
