I want to download the monthly broadcast and other videos / films for some in my cong who are not yet able to watch on computer or tablet etc.
So how can i download this to my windows computer or laptop perhaps on a MP4 file?
I can then make them a CD / DVD which they can simply watch on their tv using a dvd player
    Many thanks

Hi Reg, please go this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/cROFR2h9gq0 At the bottom, you’ll see comments. Look for one by Sam Holt which explains how to download on a Windows device.

I live in rural Alberta Canada. We don’t have the best internet quality available. This month especially, I’ve tried watching the March Broadcast numerous times (literally about 20 times) and for some reason it won’t stream for me (even on lowest setting of 240) I have a Mac. Can you give some direction as to how to download the videos to my desktop, please. It’s very discouraging for me as I am trying to share these videos with my young teens but literally can’t as they pause too often or don’t load at all. Thank you 🙂

Hi. Thanks for the question. You can use the Chrome browser on your Mac. And install the Chrome plugin called Downloader Pro. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-downloader-professi/elicpjhcidhpjomhibiffojpinpmmpil This will allow you to download videos from within Chrome to your Desktop.

The only app you need to download the broadcast videos is JW Library. I’m sure you have it already ?

Here is s video tutorial I made to show you how to do it. http://appchasers.com/2015/02/07/how-to-use-the-jw-library-app-part-2-publications-music-and-videos/

I would like to know how to burn children’s songs from jw.org. Do I have to download them to my computer and then burn them?

I don’t see the link to the video downloader that you recommended to download monthly broadcast. There are several in App Store. Which one should I use? Your post was very helpful… Thanks very much!

Hi. I would just use the Documents app to download the videos from the broadcast now. Here’s a link: http://appchasers.com/2013/12/12/video-how-to-get-organized-for-the-meetings-and-field-ministry-with-documents-for-readdle/

I have downloaded over 100 videos from JW Library app on my Ipad – I use these for RV and BS, but I find it hard to find a specific one that is needed – I have to look through the large list each time I want to find one – is there some way of having folders or files on the Ipad so that I can put all of the downloaded songs in a “Songs” folder, all the movies in a “Movies” folder, and so on.
Thanks for any assistance you can give
