Video: Explaining iCloud Part 2 – iCloud Drive
This is part 2 in our video series that explains what iCloud is and how it works. For years, people wished for Apple to release a product similar to Dropbox. You’ve probably heard of Dropbox, which is a service that syncs all your documents across all your devices. So whether it’s on an iPhone, iPad, or your computer, the same documents sync between those devices. That way any changes that take place on one device trickle down to the other.
Well, it took a while for Apple to get all the puzzle pieces in place, but it finally has a service that can do all that and it’s called iCloud Drive.
In this second video, we explain the following features of iCloud Drive:
- How to send documents to iCloud Drive from your iPhone and iPad (we use the PDF Expert app in this example)
- How to access and upload iCloud Drive files on your Mac
- How to access and upload to iCloud Drive from any computer using iCloud.com
- How to access and edit iCloud Drive files in Pixelmator for iPad
