If you’re idea of relaxing is listening to water falling from the sky, Thunderspace is the app you’ll want. The developer uses a psychoacoustic microphone to record all the soundscapes. Apparently that means the resulting audio is in 3D. And you will hear the noises moving from ear to ear when you’re using headphones. The developer has thought up some cool ways to bring the thunderstorm experience to life. The app will synchronize your iPhone flash to strobe in line with the thunder sounds in the app. It’s an awesome experience if you’re listening to Thunderspace in a dark room. Additionally, if you have a couple Wemo switches and fans, the app will turn them on and off to simulate wind. I really like Thunderspace and listen to it any time I need to relax.
