Let’s not beat around the bush. The iPhone is great at helping you depart from your money. But can it actually make money for you? Here I’ll outline a few of the ways I generate some extra cash with my iPhone.
Field Agent is the best secret shopper app for the iPhone. Jobs usually range from $4 to $12 for traveling to a store and taking a picture of a product or answering a question. Lots of stores participate (Target, Costco, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, etc). Payment takes place through Paypal so you’ll need an account. Just follow the instructions and watch the money roll in.
Make money from watching TV? Sure! Viggle can listen to what show you’re watching and will reward you with points. The highest points come from Primetime shows and you can find out which ones by scrolling the app’s main page. Viggle will even let you set alerts for high-point episodes. Points will gradually accumulate and can be spent on gift cards from the likes of iTunes and Starbucks.
FreeMyApps.com isn’t an app, but a website that rewards you for downloading free apps from the App Store. Just visit the site on your iPhone or iPad and download the adhoc provisioning file. This file gives the thumbs-up to the site when you download and run the free apps. After the confirmation, FreeMyApps stocks your profile with points. These points can be redeemed for Amazon and iTunes gift cards.
Starbucks Pick of the Week
Recently Starbucks has been promoting a Free App of the Week. Now without even visiting a Starbucks, you can get this week’s free download right from the Starbucks app. This post explains more. Pretty cool, huh?
