1Password – The best password management app on iPhone and iPad
Do you have trouble remembering all of the passwords you use across the Internet? Some people try to solve this problem by using the same username and password for multiple sites. The problem with that is if a hacker gains access to one of your accounts, they’ll try those same credentials on the most common websites, probably ones you use. On the other hand, changing your username and password for every site can get confusing. So what’s the solution? 1Password by Agilebits.
1Password’s goal is to keep track of all your usernames and passwords so you don’t have to. All you need to do is remember one password, your master password to get into the app. After that, 1Password securely stores all the details needed to access your Internet accounts. The app even has a browser so you can visit your favorite sites while 1Password fills in all the login requirements for you. The app will also generate new passwords for you based on the strength settings you choose. It will also backup all your passwords to an encrypted file in Dropbox or iCloud. That way all your passwords will be available across your iPhone, iPad, and your computers (click here for the desktop versions: Mac and PC).
I can’t imagine anyone who couldn’t use 1Password to make their digital life a little easier. And now thanks to iOS 8 extensibility, 1Password can fill-in your website usernames and passwords without ever leaving the Safari browser. On top of that, 1Password can create complex passwords for you using it’s password recipe engine. Store all your passwords, identification records, credit cards in 1Password and access them by simply remembering your one password to get into the app.
Now you can check passwords right from your wrist. Imagine viewing your gym locker combination, or your credit card info with a quick glance. 1Password is a welcome addition to the Apple Watch.
