Video: How to quickly view Field Service Presentations in Notification Center on your iPhone and iPad
Every month we stock our field service bags with the latest literature, our bible, tracts, and other items in order to bring people good news. But what will we say to generate interest? Our suggested field service presentation from jw.org of course! Sometimes though, we need help remembering those presentations. It would be advantageous to have a quick reference to trigger our memory throughout the day. Thankfully there is an iPhone app widget that can do just that. Its called Clips – Copy and Paste anywhere.
As you can see in the above video, Clips integrates seamlessly with Safari to capture any selected text. All you need to do is select the text and hit Safari’s share button (the arrow pointing up out of the box). Then tap Clips. This will bring up the Clips interface where you can save that selected text right into the app. Clips will also save the URL (or internet address) of the page the text originated from. In order to pull off this task, Clips uses the iOS share extension feature. You can read more and watch another video about how to enable this feature here. If you’d like to also watch a video about iPhone and iPad widgets click here. And let us know how you’re using Clips in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you!
