Family Worship evening is something looked forward to by many of us each week. Families around the globe study various topics and even embark upon multi-week projects. Some have found it beneficial to research a Bible topic and create a timeline surrounding the events of that topic. Pen and paper are great for quickly getting down the information, but for those looking to preserve their timeline projects, digital versions are beneficial.

Timeline 3D is a fantastic app for doing just that. It works both on iPhone and iPad for creating stunning timelines. Just pick a topic and Timeline 3D will let you create a project in which you can house multiple events. I was happy to see that the app accepts B.C.E. and C.E. dates and places them properly in relation to each other. For every event you can place a start date as well as optional end date. Then add a picture, video, and notes if you like.

After creating your events, Timeline 3D will prepare a gorgeous animated timeline that will allow you to step through each item. You will even be able to display your project on your Apple TV through AirPlay. If you prefer to save your project outside of the app, Timeline 3D offers exporting to PDF and PowerPoint (or Keynote for Mac users).
