JW Library App Video Series – Part 1: Bible Tips and Main Features
The JW Library app is the main official app developed by Jehovah’s Witnesses for use on the iPad and iPhone. It includes a number of tools for use at the meetings, during personal study, and in the field ministry. The primary tool is, of course, the Bible and JW Library includes several different ones including the American Standard Version, King James Version, New World Translation along with its illustrated indexes and appendixes, etc. You’ll also find other publications by Jehovah’s Witnesses including the full Insight on the Scriptures volumes. Select videos can also be downloaded into the app for offline use while in service. The JW Library app keeps getting better and better with each update and is definitely the first app you’ll want to download to your new device. Other great apps by Jehovah’s Witnesses are JW Library Sign Language and JW Language.

Brother, you probably will be shocked to here this, but you have ads from Amazon showing up on your site, which are promoting an apostate book “JW Changes” by Sean M.

Wow! Thank you so much for letting me know that! Removing immediately. I appreciate the feedback as different ads show up for everyone. So I don’t always know every ad that shows!

Thank you!! Wonderful instruction for experienced as well as new ones! App works great on iPad. I’m having problem not getting the parallel translations to download in the app for iPhone 4S nor for iPhone 6. Updating and/or deleting doesn’t help. Is this unavailable for phones?
Thanks again!

Hi. Thanks for your comment. Are you on the languages download screen? Or having problems finding that screen? Have you tried rebooting your iPhone lately? This video shows how http://youtu.be/n2_KuxZHhAU Let me know exactly where you’re getting stuck and we’ll see if we can figure it out.

The app downloads on 4s, 6 and an LG Fuel. However, upon clicking a verse # only the NWT is shown– no parallel transations. The publications, videos, etc. are there (in cloud) in the other menu selections but, no parallel translations for the Bible. Customise button just brings up NWT.
Thanks for your help!!.

Finally, I located the top R icon (on the Bible books list page) that brings up the parallel translations in clouds! Now can dowload any or all to compare! Guess I was just overwhelmed by all the “goodies”! Like a child with tons of toys and can’t remember how to play with them all!! Thanks again for tutorial! I think I need to listen again with 2 devices (running app on one and tutorial on the other) so I can watch, listen and practice all at the same time!

Hey that’s great! I’m glad everything worked out for you. Thanks for the nice encouragement to!

I think these are fantastic! You don’t bychance have it in PowerPoint to print out for the friends? I was doing a class for the friends tomorrow. I have a PP I put together from when the app was first released, but there’s been quite a few updates and your tutorial seems more extensive! 🙂 Thanks for your hard work!

Hi. Thanks so much. I’m glad the video is helpful. Unfortunately I don’t have a PowerPoint.

Thanks but I have a very basic question: how can I get the 2013 NWT on my jw library app? The only bible that shows up is the reference bible. I’d like the revision to be my first choice.
Also can I link the audio recordings of the bible readings to the NWT 2013? Currently I used equips to read and listen, good way to compare the changes. Thank you.
January 18, 2016 @ 8:04 am
Hello, how are you? If you would like to get the 2013 Bible, go to the Bible tab at the bottom of your screen. Then go to the languages tab at the upper right-hand corner of your screen. You will see all the available Bibles there. I don’t believe the audio versions of the Bible are available in JW Library to sync like in Equipd.

COULD YOU TELL ME HOW TO CLEAR THE SEARCH MENU ON JW LIBRARY?
January 27, 2016 @ 2:01 pm
Are you talking about the list of previous searches?

I was wondering if it’s possible to transfer a publication from one device to another? I realize you can just download it again but it won’t have all my highlights. Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for the question. At this time I don’t think that’s possible.
