Boxer – Organize your email on the fly
Boxer is another app which aims to help you take control of your email inbox. Like Mailbox and Dispatch, Boxer incorporates swipe gestures for navigating your emails. Swipe left to archive or delete. Swipe right to trigger actions. Boxer’s actions set is great as you can send emails to a built-in to-do list, send to Evernote, mark them as spam, or quickly reply with a pre-defined template. These templates can be edited too. So if you find yourself typing the same thing over and over to recipients, quick reply will save you a ton of time. Lastly, one of my favorite features of Boxer is it’s use of contact photos in the inbox view. I wish Apple’s native email did this. Actually Boxer really stands out here as none of our other mail apps offers contact photos.
Boxer is just one of our favorite email apps for iPhone and iPad. We’ve collected all of our favorites here. And if you’d like to see more of our top app selections in different categories, just head on over to our Best Apps Series.
