iMovie – Powerful video editing right from within the iPhone Photos app
iMovie has been around for a long time on the Mac and is now available on both the iPhone and iPad. The funny thing is that these mobile versions of iMovie are easier to use and deliver the same stellar results as the Mac counterpart. Rather than going into a huge discussion of all of iMovie’s features, we want to tell you about one we particularly love. That is the ability to quickly edit your iPhone videos using iMovie, but right from within the Photos app. This is by using the iMovie extension. Thanks to iOS’ ability to access one app’s features from within another, the Photos app gains the ability to use the iMovie app’s editing features as an extension. Now you can edit videos you’ve taken right from within the Photos app using iMovie’s awesome tools. These include adding style filters, titles, and music to your videos.
